Zinnebeeld
We’re introducing a new font called Zinnebeeld. Made for the Rotterdam based design agency Zinnebeeld. The font consists of three weights: regular, regular-italic and bold. A sans typeface with a neutral but strong looking character. The font could have Mercator or Akzidenz as grandparents but it’s a grandson that is gone in its own direction.
When designing this font family we wanted to unite the dockworker from the harbor of Rotterdam with the finesse and elegance of a young lady. The result of this union has become a very practical font that is made for both web and print.
Zinnebeeld designed a book as type specimen called ‘Symboolpolitiek’. The type specimen is available at letterproef.zinnebeeld.nl
Kris
